Plan the documents before shipment

Import and inspection requirements can vary by vehicle, shipment date and entry point. Before placing an order, confirm the current certificate and customs requirements with an accredited inspection body and your Iraqi clearing agent.

01Confirm the vehicle specification and destination port or border point.

02Check the current inspection and certificate requirements in writing.

03Review invoice, packing list, origin and shipment documents before dispatch.

Federal Iraq and the Kurdistan Region may use different entry procedures. Vehicle age rules, duties and timelines should be reconfirmed for each transaction.
